How many tiles does it take to tile a 100 sf room with 12" by 12" tiles? | |

Answers:
1It depends on the actual dimensions of the room.
A room that is exactly 10 feet by 10 feet would be 100 SF and could be tiled with 100 tiles and no waste.
A room that is 9'-6" x 10'-7" would require 110 tiles. It's 10 tiles wide by 11 tiles long. This example produces 10 percent waste.
