my tiler did not put down plywood prior to putting on tiles on the floor - it is totally botched wit all the grout cracking - i can't afford to rip it up and start again - and regrouting will not solve the problem. is there an alternative to grout?

i was wondering if there is an alternative product eg a a grey sealant type material that could be used where the grout would normallt go that is flexible when stood on so we don't have the cracking/flaking effect
